Harvard Business Review | Animated Walkthrough
Last year, Harvard Business Review scaled back their annual number of print magazine issues for subscribers. However, subscribers now have access to a number of exclusive features on HBR.org. HBR approached Oxbow to help communicate the value of HBR.org features in an effort to maintain subscription growth and customer loyalty.
Piggybacking off the release of an entire new HBR digital experience, we created a sequence heavily inspired by the user-interface of the product itself, utilizing clean kinetic typography and a diverse yet controlled use of color. In order to convey the ease, convenience and monumentality of the content provided by the platform, we created a suite of colorful vignettes to bookend the UI walkthroughs; a miniature cast of characters playfully interacting with larger-than-life HBR content.
