Here at Oxbow, we look back on 2017 as a year of growth and focus. We’re a small company in a small corner of the country, but our team shows up everyday to support the issues of our time as best we can. Projects with influential organizations like the ACLU, the Humane Society, and the Union of Concerned Scientists get us out of bed every morning.
Most importantly, our communities in Vermont, New York, Boston, and beyond keep us running. So before we keep talking about ourselves, we want to extend a heartfelt “thank you” for your support and energy. Here’s to you! We have big plans for 2018, and we hope you’ll continue to be part of it.

We sometimes describe our process as a magical intersection of design and strategy. The truth is, we can’t capture this synergy with words. It’s best embraced as an experience… dive in.
Journey of the Jaguar
Panthera’s former CEO, Alan Rabinowitz, has dedicated his entire life to the preservation of big cats and their habitats. This year, Alan and a team of scientists and conservationists embarked on what’s being called the most audacious wildlife conservation campaign ever. Oxbow has partnered with Panthera to bring this journey to life over the next few years. Visit the site at www.journeyofthejaguar.org.
Our friends at LOLA are disrupting the tampon industry with something we all deserve: transparency. The FDA doesn't require tampon companies to disclose their ingredients, so LOLA has taken it into their own hands to shift the paradigm. Oxbow is working with them to tell their story. Check it out: www.oxbow.co/lola/.
Help Britain Breathe
This summer we teamed up with Purpose, Healthy Air, The British Lung Foundation, and Client Earth to call attention to a silent killer in the United Kindgom: air pollution. No words are needed to tell this story… give it a look: www.oxbow.co/helpbritainbreathe/.
Oxbow’s partnership with TED Talks continued to grow this year. Our highlight: working with Anthony Romero, Executive Director of the ACLU, on his talk for TED 2017: The Future You. Check it out here: www.oxbow.co/anthony-romero.
Speaking of work, we’re proud to announce that Oxbow won 2 Global Summit Creative awards this year.
Summit Silver in the Non-Profit Marketing category for our work on Panthera’s Big Cat Showdown campaign www.oxbow.co/act-for-big-cats/.
The Oxbow family grew in 2017. Say hello!
Oxbow officially became a member of 1% for the Planet this summer. We’ve pledged to donate 1% of our gross revenue to environmental non-profits.
We traded in our laptops for some gardening gloves during a day of gleaning at the Intervale Community Farm.
Vermont Huts is congregating Vermont's outdoor communities to develop a cohesive network of backcountry huts, cabins, and yurts in the Green Mountains. Oxbow plans to donate a significant amount of time in the coming year to the cause. Learn more at www.vermonthuts.org/.
Oh, we almost forgot! Do you like food, beer, people or tarot cards? If you answered "yes" to any of these, you should come to our party on February 10th. It's invite only - consider this your invitation. Stay tuned!
